Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!)
Okay, if you planted 150,000 per acre of 90% germ seed, and lost another 10% to "natural stand reduction", you should still have 120,000 plants per acre.

- 120,000 plants per acre TIMES 50 pods per plant EQUALS 6,000,000 pods per acre.
- 6,000,000 pods per acre TIMES 2.5 (is that about average, of GOOD soybeans, maybe better) soybeans per pod EQUALS 10,500,000 soybeans per acre
- 10,500,000 soybeans per acre DIVIDED by 3,000 soybeans per pound EQUALS 5,000 pounds (maybe more or less) per pound EQUALS 83.33 bushels per acre.

I think you better swag some of my calculations....
