Don't know where you are, but we have 50 pods per plant too, drilled at around 210,000. Problem is, there are a lot of beans that are smaller than a .177 cal pellet. Probably a big 1/8". Those aren't gonna pile up very fast. Have also heard of some horrendous test weights. Below 50 lb.
