Subject: RE: How to plant Winter Wheat (att. otis and luke)

Renville Minnesota

Still got the Jetta,  90,000 miles and going strong, aside from 6 flat tires in the last 6 months.  Dang carpenter!  I thought my srcew/nail bill was high.

She goes to sleep earlier than I, so then I get to watch south park while she's sleeping.  One episode revolved around prious, or as they say, "pious".   Maybe the subconsious caught up to her?  :&)

Sounds like we should put some p&K down before we drill the wheat.  I hear ya on the banding, but around here finding a drill is hard enough, finding one with band attatchments, well, I think they'd all just laugh at me.

Thanks Otis........Our spring wheat this last year had a wet hot growing season, I wonder what we could have done with some fungicide?   Will keep ya posted next spring/summer for some needed advice on this subject.

Happy harvesting

Brian
