NW Washington | Winter wheat is not too tough to grow as long as the weather cooperates and it sounds like you are doing things pretty well. Maybe a little more N and P, K and S if needed. Keep out the weeds and spray for diseases and bugs in the spring as needed. If you have not grown wheat on the land for a long time you are not apt to have a disease problem. You may have to fiddle with the spring N rates and timing to improve the protein levels if your going hard wheat, but I don't know much about that.
