Subject: RE: How to plant Winter Wheat (att. otis and luke)

Seaforth, Ontario
Up here where I live in sw ont we no till probably 80% of our winter wheat. I've been seeding 125 to 135 lbs/acre but I think this year I'm going to push my R47 to about 165 lbs. I think its short enough that it wont lodge. We put 100-125 lbs actual nitrogen on either at last good frost or as soon as it's dry. Our wheat yeilds in this area the last few years has run between 80 and 105 bu/acre. Ken AKA not Luke skywalker.
