Is it ever not cold there? I think I'm confused the way I read your first post your feeding 20lbs of grain + free choice hay that seems like alot of grain, but your saying 20-22 lbs of dry matter is hay + grain correct?
What kind of hay are you feeding/how many days a year do you feed?
