Yep, we took an old NH 890 removed most of the knives to get a good length of cut for beeding and use it to chop windrowed soybean stubble behind a JD combine. Just blow it in a chopper box and bag it. Works great and makes great bedding. Just use an old chopper because all the dirt and dust is hard on the chopper knives etc.
