I would not chop corn stalks. I think that would be hard on the chopper[stones and rootballs] if you rake it together. Straw I think would be ok but something that dry is gonna just blow all over. I would get small grain cut with Rotary combine and the straw will fall apart when you cut the strings. How would a flail chopper work for corn stalks or would they be to bulky to go through the bagger.
