Subject: Re: Fencer ground rods

Otago, New Zealand
We have found that stainless steel rods last quite well, spaced well apart. Tossing rods into one hole is like just using one rod. Drilling a hole near ( within 18") of a rod that was DRIVEN in and filling the hole with salt also works well as the salt attracts moisture. Keeping the salt a little way away from the rod reduces corrosion to some extent.
