I to agree with you on EPD's and am watching them closely as I am rebuilding my herd.
I do really wish that some how they could use one set of numbers for all breeds, so confussing.
I do see that the 0.2 hiefer is border line especially with the EPD's on your bull.
Your EPD's on herfords are really wacky because other breeds us a smaller number for better calving.
My Shorthorn cross and angus cross are good at2.0 and under. Mine are -8 to -1.3 witch is excelent but with herefords bad, confussing . |
