On your intensive grazing, how many acres per cow do you plan on to go all year without feeding hay? Most people in our area figure 3-4 total acres to carry a cow all year (2.5-3 acres for pasture and 1-1.5 acres of hay ground). Have talked to a few people in our area that get down to 2.5-3 acres for the year with intensive grazing, just wondering how you figured things.
