Hey Jim, Markwright and others: From time to time I see discussion of the 205 day adjusted calf weaning weight as a percent of the cow weight at weaning. My question is would this ratio be more useful if it included an adjustment for body condition score of the cow. Seems to me a cow with a higher body condition score might be a better deal than the thinner cow with the same calf ratio.
