NC Iowa | i think your map dot is somewhat in the area where my grandparents came from. emden area. some worked at the vw plant. i have my grandmother's birth record, but alas, it is in german. i have many relatives still around there, but not in contact now. many good farmers came to this area from there in early 1900's, because of the plentiful farmland.
