NC Iowa | thanks for the information. my daughter wants to get one, and i told her i didn't know what kind it is. probably couldn't buy one like it anyway. this will give her some things to try. it is the last fruit tree left from the orchard my great grandparents planted when they slettled here in the late 1800's. use to be plum and walnut and several varities of apple. planting an orchard and a woodlot (for fuel) were the first thing to do back then. | |
