Studies that we've been involved with in switchgrass showed that the logistics and infrastructure would be too significant compared to using the current crops and facilities in place. Studies we were involved with in Algae production in Tulsa showed better promise using the systems currently on hand. These studies were in conjuction with WinRock. It also seemed very hard to convince long term family farmers to shift production from their current crop systems when they understand them and profit from them.
