Texas/New Mexico Stateline
Good advice spending quiet time out there, if you have the time. The more the better.

When we turn out calves on wheat in the fall they can't stand a 4 wheeler around. Start it up and all you will see is their backsides and tails stuck up in the air. But I can drive it out in the field slowly and quietly several days in a row, and after about the 5th time I can go out and shut it off and within 15 minutes some of them are coming over and licking the fenders. It always surprises me how quick they will gentle down when they get used to seeing you on a regular basis.

These have been out about a week. Pretty green coming off a ranch.
