What I see is that we have a pretty good corn and maybe bean crop between I80 and I90 and somewhere in ILL west to somewhere in NE. Now that is a big area but cannot produce record crops on its own. Beans are going to be a big question mark even in that area.

During the Dakotafest show earlier this year, quite a few customers said they had good crops but on about half their acres.  If you look at many of the more bean areas they are just one of two extremes: little steel BB's as I saw in OH last week or drowning in swamp as in much of the northern bean areas along the RR valley. Neither is going to produce a  record bean crop either.
