   I will finish my first field tomorrow 270 acres very variable soil lots of sand and clay. It will make 175bu about 10 off what I expected. Test weight is good, 55-57 lbs b ut kernel depth is much less than normal. I agree with Steve that the rapid dry down was more of a rapid die off and prevented full fill. Most of the pro farmer tour was done before the die off/ dry down occurred. This should account for some of the spread.
