| Two of the last 3 land auctions I have attended have gone to out-of-state investors.
Some farm land realators said that if large pieces that are good land and square come along they want to know. The first auction the farmers stopped bidding ~$5800-6000. To phone bidders took over on ~300A for $6850. The second was about 200-300 higher for farmers for the similar size piece, but the investors went to over $7200. The third had problems with the dirt and went for ~$5500. The investors wanted big chunks and square pieces. | |
