Interesting how things can vary from area to area. My heifers on pasture are so fat I wish I had some range ground to put them on to slow them up some, make to big a frame otherwise. We don't supplement at all, pasture cows get too spoiled as is here. High desert irrigated pasture has really high protein feed in it.
