Missouri | Anything, one can do to help these girls out will reward the operator. Getting them bred back is the real test. They are still growing, nursing a calf and getting bred. Any female that pasts that test has a good chance of being around for a while. Fescue is just part of life around here. Manage around its good and bad qualities. Early weaning and creep feeding these calves is not a mistake. Just makes life little easier on Mom. Good Luck.
