Agreed, the more input the better, we can all use our own judgement on what we do with the information. Although I am not well versed in his theory, I belieive it is based on historical patterns and percentages. Similar to a chance of rain. Dad says anyone that has been through a drought has seen a 70% chance of rain, the storm coming on the radar and only get a few drops. Just like this year a 70% chance of rain means a few inches. I don't believe Elwynn ever gave a 100% chance of a drought. He simply stated based on historical data that our odds were up. In my opinion we a very mild drought in 2005 in the midwest, it was very dry we a couple lucky showers and most of the cornbelt had a decent crop.
