You are of course in a different environment, here thistles are normally sign of overgrazing. In my high density, long rest pastures few if any thistles but don't worry I have enuf of other species. This corn is designed for grazing, we have used DC Milo but one has to wait for a killing freeze here in Mo. last year we still had green shoots in late DEC. Ben
