Owings, Maryland 38.6856 N 76.6752 W | I think it was my uncle that had the lard/sausage press, also had several stainless kettles with stands. I remember we would fress the chop portion and later take them to the butcher down the road and have them sliced/cut on a bandsaw, we even made link sausage back then.
My favorite byproduct from the whole deal is the scrapple, boiling and stirring, adding lots of cornmeal and sage and whatever else. When/if I can get something going here it will be a from scratch operation, i'll have to start keeping my eyes peeled for those types of implements.
