That's what lein weivers are for, but if you get a lein waiver from the concrete guy and he doesn't pay for the cement company and you don't have one from the cement company - you are SOL, have to pay the cement company also. Anyone stepping one foot your property and anyone suppling materials can attach a lein to your property/home for services/materials provided . . . including bank appraisers (they forgot to pay the appraiser, imagine that) . . .
