central - east central Minnesota - | Location, location, location - makes a difference with price. Material and quality of materials, good, better and best can make a heck of a difference in price. Size of house, garage and basement all play into the price - as does HVAC and such. I'd say, what every you come up with - add a minimun of $30 bucks a square ft to that price to be comfortable. The custom home for the kids we just finished up on was @ $185 sq ft. Surprisingly, wood is down some but other materials haven't come down as much, or labor. Don't get cought with subcontrators or general contractor about to go under . . it's rough out there and they are still going out of business - check their financial out very well. Good luck, it can be fun process or a real drag . . .
