Oklahoma | Have a coworker that did the modular home deal as well about 2 years ago and he is happy as a lark. He did the pad, footers, landscaping and attached a garage to the end of it on his own and I am pretty sure he said he has about $58/sf in it. He shopped around alot for a builder though. Ended up getting one that was quite a ways away from his location but he liked their craftsmanship better than the ones closer. But in the end the trucking was within $200 of each other so he felt he did alright. I haven't been inside it but have seen it on the outside and he added the garage in a manner that it doesn't look like it is prefabbed and modular. | |
