| Get a months deposit up front and collect the first months rent before you give them the keys and let them move in. Even if you know them well get a written lease and go through it with them so that there are no misunderstandings. Just the threat of a credit check on an application can scare some people off and thats not a bad thing. If you want no pets in yur house its best to say it up front on the application and in the lease. Little fluffy the wonder dog can chew the crap out of the woodwork but some tenants won,t ever see it that way. | |
