East-Central Ontario
Ahhh the train... for people too poor to fly, but too close to normal to take the bus.

Long story short... the bus from Ottawa to Vancouver passes a bit to the north of me, about 2 hours after it leaves Ottawa. Apparently on the schedule at the terminal, the arrival time in Vancouver is about an hour after the departure time from Ottawa... doesn't make it clear enough that there are DAYS in between.

So about 2-3 times a year somebody (so far exclusively Asian somebody's) gets taken off the bus 2 hours after it leaves Ottawa because they've gotten themselves convinced that somebody is taking advantage of them because they aren't in Vancouver yet.

Used to take the train home from university through Montreal, spend a few hours at the train station there between trains. Then the train stopped and I got to go on the bus and spend a few hours in the bus terminal. WAAAAAAAY different class of addict Ooops I mean passenger at the bus terminal.
