Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I don't know nor believe there is an envelope setting on the older 2300 series. Seems strange that the 2400 series would have been shipped with one envelope tab up and the other down.
Possibly, I moved one myself when I initially setup the printer although this seems unlikely.
Anyway, the printer now works fine and is plugged into the wall socket without having to use the extension cord.
The "sound" I was referring to in the original post comes from the 12V power supply which I have attached to the same outlet. The power supply only makes this sound when it and the printer are both on. The power supply doesn't make this "reset" sound when the printer is off. |
