Yorkshire UK | It's almost as if the printer needs cleaning which shouldn't be the case yet, since I haven't really printed much. The problem isn't apparent with color and does seem to get better with repeated use. In other words if I print 20 copies of a page, the later ones seem better. I think this is the most likely. Black printheads usually gives problems before the colour. Not familiar with the best way to tackle with your printer - try googling printhead cleaning. You can get a 'cleaning' cartridge, with my Canon I generally use alcohol (methylated spirit) run through it from an old printer cartridge. No ill effects so far but some say doing this can damage rubbery components - which seems plausible. |
