We have a 2018 Ford Flex with no way to check transmission fluid.   Had a 2012 that was the same way.   Dumb design IMO.

No way to check you say? Just because there isn’t a dipstick you pull out like the good old days doesn’t mean you just give up and call it good. There are check plugs and procedures to check, add, or even flush modern transmissions. Wife had a Chevy equinox with just over 100k that had never had tranny fluid checked/changed. 15 minutes on the internet showed exactly how to execute the procedure. Dropped the old fluid, added new, unhooked a line to the trans cooler and kept track of how much came out, replaced that amount, kept flushing until all fluid was bright red, then checked the level at the check plug(no dipstick, just a 10mm plug behind drivers side tire). The fluid that came out was black and that car never saw above 55 up to that point. Zero chance that thing would have made 200k without a flush/change. The internet is an amazing resource that is underutilized for these projects. Dumb design? Yes. Impossible to service? No
