My daughter's first car when she was 17 years old was a Chevy Cobalt. It didn't even have a transmission dip stick. I remember reading the manual and it said it was good for 150k miles. If you had any trouble before or after that............see your dealer.
She bought the car with about 50k miles............and sold it with 125k. It was a good car. And didn't have any transmission trouble!
