SW Indiana | Heard a story from a farmer I know in Pike county. Was an auction and longtime renter hoped to buy. Supposedly Seng talked with long term tenant before the sale and asked his intentions, Seng said they wouldn't bid if long term tenant was high bidder, but if the tenant quit bidding Seng would start.
Tenant ended up quitting bidding before the sale was over, at that point Seng started bidding and bought it. Have no idea how accurate the story is. Story could have been family member instead of long term tenant, been a long time since I heard that story.
