Midwest

Hilltop Husker - 3/17/2024 19:55 https://www.thegazette.com/environment-nature/iowa-dnr-finds-no-livi... We need too ask more of our fertilizer dealers than this. Remote monitoring and 24hr onsite personnel would have mitigated this ecological disaster. How was a fertilizer plant allowed to built there?

No way 24hr onsite people will happen, places won't pay it and people won't work it. At every single halfway large fertilizer storage site.

The monitoring, now we're talking. Should have a float monitor in every tank with alarms, should have valve status on each monitored as well. Open an app and see right away which ones are green/red for open/closed.
