NW Washington | I second the complaint that walkers and bicyclists wear dark clothing while walking or riding on roads and streets. It is almost impossible to see them in low light or dark situations. People walking or running on the pavement is another complaint, and I have seen them do it even when there is a sidewalk.
There are now LED lights for bikes that are very bright and require little power to operate. And walkers and runners can wear reflective vests or belts so they can easily be seen by vehicle drivers. | |
