| The news makes it a big deal.There were times when Dubuque laid off people making construction equipment while Waterloo built tractors and engines seven days a week.I believe you can get unemployment for a year.I think the few times I was off I got 80% of my pay and they withheld less.
Deere does not want extra inventory,it was unbelievable the number of times I ran out of raw materials on friday morning and was stuck polishing my machines and organizing tools for half a day,then the parts showed up Saturday and i spent all of Sunday making parts so the assembly lines could work monday | |
