Orfarmer - 3/12/2024 10:13
barren - 3/12/2024 04:31 The 400,000-square foot plant will expand the company's bacon production, with the ability to produce two million pounds a week.
How does that work exactly? Reminds me of a guy that wanted to buy half a hog to "save money". When asked by the processor how he wanted it cut up he replied "all bacon".

They've probably been selling pork bellies on the open market.

With the new plant they will probably sell less (or maybe none) pork bellies and cure it into bacon themselves.
