Not sure what schedule is but start them on it slowly and build their time up. First couple days give them maybe an hour to hour and a half. Then maybe build by 30 minutes daily until you have 3 hours.

I have been grazing 28 head of cows and calves on 4 acers of rye for about a month now. My Son will let them out around 4 when he comes in from School. We run them off around 6 to 6:30 every afternoon. They do well on the rye.
