Subject: First time grazing cereal rye with cattle

About to turn our angus bred cows out on a cereal rye cover crop from regular pasture, is there anything I need to be concerned about? Should we try to ease into it and limit the amount at first? Or just paddock it off and move them every few days? For now they are just eating grass, hay, free choice mineral, and one rye hayledge bale a week (30 head). I'll add that they will start dropping calves any day now but some might be a few months from calving as our bull had an injury last year that might have slowed things up.

Or am I over thinking it?
