I work in a chemical plant as my day job.   Always hear about the “ rich farmers” occasionally I reply if I was getting rich farming do you think I’d be here having this conversation with you?   That usually gets me a dumb founded look.  I remember my grandfather telling stories about working in a button factory then a foundry in his younger days around the timeline of the Great Depression.  Life in the workplace is much much better now.
