Glasgow, Ky | Powerlines , pipelines etc have to go across someone. I had a 340kv powerline cross my land several years ago. Initially, I didn't like it at all. Then I got to thinking, if I successfully fought it they would just cross another person's land who probably wouldn't want it either. Powerlines, pipelines etc benefit the general public in one way or another so that is the price we pay for development and progress.
The reality of it was the thought of the powerline was worse than the actual powerline. I got used to it and, after a few years, paid no attention to it.
Got to admit I don't know all the details about the pipeline and how it will affect the farms it crosses. Will it be worse than having big powerlines? | |
