Southwest Michigan | We do a similar program, about 100 acres a year. Some in well managed alfalfa grass and some in solid grass rental fields that I can’t replant because of the landowners. I was hopeful that someone had a variety that was noticeable better than another. I still have one field that has some Vernal alfalfa in it. Most recently I have been planting LHR varieties, so maybe that is it. Michigan is just cloudy and damp a high percentage of the time.
