I have grazed cattle in IA, MO, and now NE. I have not done it in the mountains yet but from when I have visited those regions, it looks like the rule is the same. Any slope they don’t fall off of is grazable! Now the duration they should stay on it may change from place to place but the cow is better than wheels and throttles at utilizing rough ground.
