Here (So KY), you can overgraze cattle to the point of seeing bare dirt in places the grass is knawed off so short, and the briars will take over in those places the next spring. Maybe black angus in this region are trained differently, but I've never had cattle clean up anything except for one spot along the creek bank to lay down in in the 100 degree heat. I take a batwing across everything at some point during a year. |
