This is what I meant what if you don’t even get the cash rent back let alone the cost of inputs I think it is coming. There is $600 rent in central Illinois and a lot of of $500 plus


$5-$600 rent is a better deal when you figure 5% int on owned ground that would sell for $15-$20,000 acre. @ current prices profitability is being subsidized by the land owner.
Yup. As crazy as that sounds to a prospective tenant, it’s absolutely the way it is with cash actually being worth something again. Completely changes the way things should/need be looked at.



Land owners are not subsidizing tenants @ $500-600

Land values are being artificially propped up by people that are willing to purchase a horrible ROI.
