NE Nebraska | it's all the little things that add up and you don't realize it with irrigation. Heck a tire replacement for $400, a gearbox for $400, 1 center drive for $400, and you got almost $10/acre in irrigation costs alone. That's doing the work yourself btw. Now we need to put gas in the pickup, grab the 4 wheeler and trailer, ( have you priced a 4 wheeler lately?) to replace those things out, batteries died on the irrigation motor again cause the alternator is shot, knuckle goes out on driveshaft, ect. It adds up quick! | |
