Most of these fields are 5-10 acres with 8-10 cores pulled on each area.
Yes, there is some variability in yield across some of these fields, however, wildlife damage on field edges took a lot of those areas to 0 yield. Makes it tough to keep average up on the entire field, but I don't have a yield monitor in the combine so it's hard to pull those areas out.
6 of these fields are new to us, with no previous data or soil tests. It is a shot in the dark, but I need to start somewhere and at least get a baseline to work from.
