Minnesota | On the bonus I think you are doing the right thing, you’re establishing trust between you and you landlord which is good. The part about renting the other farm if they approached you about it then I would say it’s ok to go ahead, as long as they were making an effort to ask you to rent it, the other tenant has to realize that’s how renting land goes. If you pass now someone else will probably undercut you later, renting is a fickle game.
