I got a set this year. I don't wear them very often because I find the same thing is they amplify all sound, but in quieter environment they help a lot. Mine use a Thrive app on my iPhone to adjust them, not sure if that's the brand too or what. What I don't like is they Bluetooth to my phone and I don't know how to shut that off.
